About Leanndra

Leanndra is a strategic education innovator, visionary, and accelerator for change. She is a lifelong educator and owner of Exclusive Insights, LLC, a private education consulting business in Sarasota, Florida. She is also a published author and speaker.

Leanndra’s story reflects the lived intersectionality so many people carry, but are rarely invited to name out loud. She is the survivor of multiple adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) that could have silenced her, but instead forged her. Through her writing and speaking, including her contributions to two published books, Leanndra shares not just survival, but evolution: how pain became purpose, and protection became leadership.

As a Latina, parent, educator, administrator, and community advocate, Leanndra does not wear these identities separately. They alchemize. They inform how she shows up in rooms where decisions are made, how she protects children and families, and how she advocates across tables that were never built with her communities in mind. Her work is rooted in warmth and truth, yet remains unapologetically strong and authentic, because it has to be.

Leanndra’s voice resonates with people who have been told to shrink, soften, smile more, or divide themselves in order to succeed. She speaks for those navigating generational trauma while working to bring about generational change. Her work centers resilience, power, and reclamation, reminding people that who they are is already enough, and who they are becoming is unstoppable.

Leanndra attended Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana, earning two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Elementary Education and the other in Special Education. After the birth of her second child, Leanndra continued her education and received her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, she spent over a decade in public education as a special education teacher, classroom teacher, and assistant principal.

Leanndra draws on her expertise from her years in the classroom, current and former colleagues, being a student herself, a mother, and a homeschooling facilitator. She is actively engaged as a board member and thought partner with multiple non-profits and educational resources that focus on the needs and interests of the whole child.

She continues to welcome national and international collaborations regarding education. She is deeply invested in ensuring her children and the children of others grow up in a world where their strengths, interests, passions, and uniqueness are genuinely celebrated and embraced.
